Managing Contractors
Managing contractors safely is a key element of running any modern school. These contractors may be construction, plumber or electrical workers or sports, music or other peripatetic staff. They may include people working on site who may be from major national companies, or be one-man bands and local contractors who you know well. Managing these occasional workers well is recognised as being a crucial element to ensuring safety on your site. This course covers all these aspects, plus goes in depth into the new CDM Regulations (2015) and their implications for schools.
